Actress Eniola Badmus has called out her fellow actress and C.E.O of ‘curveslimmingtea’, Toyin Abraham and other manufacturers of weight loss products.The plus-sized actress took to social media with what appears to be a call-out on those advertising weight loss products while using slim girls as models.According to Eniola Badmus, if those behind such products really believe that their products are effective as they advertise them, then they should use her as an experiment to prove their claim.We truly hope Toyin Abraham gets the memo!Eniola Badmus recently opened up on the struggle she faced being a plus-sized lady.
“When I started, I was rejected a lot and people attributed it to my body size; they were wondering what I had to offer. But I was focused and steadfast with what I was doing because I have a very high spirit. I was focused and that’s why I am excelling. No matter what comes my way, I don’t even think about it. I only think about fresh ideas because when you begin to take things personally, you get distracted. I was trained to be a hero with a lion heart; I am brave at heart. A good man will not want to let me go because I am a very hard working woman and I believe in making money,” she said.

A social media called Benwems has summed up the reason why the marriage of Ned Nwoko & his young wife Regina Daniels still annoys some people.
Here’s what she shared:
I don’t know why many people are worried about this girl’s private life. She married an old man, he would still marry another wife, blah blah…. In my opinion, most of the guys lambasting her are only pained that they cannot get her and it’s an old man who got her because they don’t have the money to woo her. For the ladies lambasting her, they are jealous of the luxury she gets from her old husband. Nevertheless, she took the path of honor by marrying the old man. She’s better than other girls that are concubines to older men and married men. Many young girls date married men and sugar daddy. At least, she’s married not a side chick. So you all should mind your business and stop drinking Panadol for another person’s headache. The irony is; when you ask a Nigerian to drink panadol for your headache they would not but when you don’t ask them that’s the time they would.
Hausa actress, Maryam Booth has finally reacted to her nude video which got leaked on social media and ignited a firestorm on Twitter on Friday February 7.
In the 3 seconds clip, the Kannywood actress was seen stark naked and trying to put on her underwear before rushing to snatch the phone from an unidentified person holding the camera.
After the nude video went viral, social media users accused her ex-boyfriend, Ibrahim Ahmad Rufai a.k.a Deezell of releasing the video.
Deezell however issued a statement in which he debunked claims of leaking the nude video.
Deezell’s statement has now forced Maryam to react to her leaked video. Maryam vowed to take legal action against the person behind the leak. She also accused her ex, Deezell of recording the video three years ago. She alleged that on multiple occasions, Deezell allegedly “threatened to leak her video if she does not pay him”.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Hausa actress said;
“I am aware of the current trends and media outrage regarding the unfortunate leaked video, purported to be me, released via number of social media platforms, and viewed by thousands of people so far,” she said.
“Initially, I wanted to keep mute until security agencies concluded their forensic research and investigation.
“The recent statement from someone, in person of Ibrahim Ahmad Rufai, popularly known as Deezell, leaves me with no choice but to break the silence. As a woman, actress and role model I will not let this matter to be swept under the carpet.
“For the record, I want to categorically state that this same man (Ibrahim Ahmad Rufai) has been, in multiple occasions threatened to leak my video if I didn’t give him money.
“As a woman, actress and role model to millions, I have been trying to protect my dignity through possible means, but without my knowledge, the three-year-old video was leaked.
“In a situation like this, one need to be very observant before any pronouncement, but it is true that Deezell was my Ex who then sneakily recorded me while I was changing.
“I am already in touch with associates for consultation, which may require taking legal actions against whoever is responsible for leaking it.”
Nigerian actress Alice Iyabo Ojo has stated that what goes on in the Nigerian film industry, commonly referred to as Nollywood is dark and spiritual.This is coming after an Instagram blogger, Gistloverupdate, had alleged that Ojo’s perceived shade at her colleague Fathia Balogun is because the latter had snatched her lover who the blogger also claimed is responsible for sponsoring Balogun’s birthday
Iyabo Ojo, however, took to her Instagram page to debunk the claim;
“The Last thing i Alice Iyabo Ojo will ever ever do is fight any woman bcos of any married or single man …. ko Jor. God forbid gistlover o por ooooo ……. worst scenario I will just ignore you ni……”
In the same post, Ojo stated that there is more to the story and that what is going in the Nigerian film industry is more than what the public knows.
Ojo implied that some actors in the industry are fetish. This, she claimed has been going on since the days of Hurbert Ogunde (10 July 1916 – 4 April 1990), the Nigerian actor, playwright, and musician who founded the first contemporary professional theatrical company in Nigeria. Ogunde has been described as the father of Nigerian theatre, or the father of contemporary Yoruba theatre.
“What goes on in our industry is beyond allthat gist you write oooo, is beyond what you can ever comprehend hmmmmm o deep gan, o dark gan, o spiritual gan ni ooo, o dey tun loud gan ni ooo…. it has been in the days of pa Ogunde & it will remain forever & you can never be prepared. But as e dey hot I dey ready.”
Oluwatoyin Alausa, an actress commented on Ojo’s post saying that:
“I Like the “o Spiritual gan ni ooo” part .. 😂😂😂🙌.. Ahhhh the spiritual rules the physical 🙅”
To which Ojo replied, “you know as e dey go 🤣🤣🤣“.
Iyabo Ojo had earlier thrown subliminal shades at an unnamed person in a now-deleted Instagram post. Ojo accused the person of betraying her. Social media users were quick to link the rants to Fathia Balogun.
“You never cease to amaze me & I’m not surprised bcos you remain number one agbaya in Nollywood … no self-respect @ all, you envy the younger ones and pretend to Love the ones that you benefit from somehow but at the end you still anit loyal o ku ku si ma tun te bo ni be ni ishhhhhhhhhhh, After all, I did for you 2 years ago to celebrate your bday in Turkey, you still snitched on me giving media fake news that I was in coma for 3 days! you wish 😆😁😄😃😃 bcos you knew about my surgery, I knew you hoped & prayed I died.
